UD Case Management
The primary goal of a non-clinical Case Manager is to assist students in accessing resources that can help them address various needs, allowing them to better focus on their personal, academic, and professional goals. The Case Manager may help students connect with resources for a wide range of needs including, but not limited to Academic performance support, Addiction-related counseling, Childcare, Counseling or other health-related services, Dental/vision care, Disabilities accommodations and resources, Financial aid or other money management resources, food insecurity, eating disorder treatment, health insurance, homelessness, legal services referrals, psychiatric medication referrals, support groups, Title IX or intimate partner violence resources, Veterans resources, or other needed referrals.
The UDCC Case Manager also helps support students by coordinating with different entities as needed, such as the Care Team, the BIT, the Health Clinic, the Office of Academic Success, College Deans, and others.
CONFIDENTIALITY
We consider any involvement with the Case Manager to be protected health information and will collect and maintain all information in the same way we would with any other necessary FERPA/HIPAA protections.
