Message from the Director

Driving Innovation.

Sue Conger, Ph.D.

In today’s growing, high-velocity marketplace, effective integration of information technology is essential for organizations to thrive. Those that evolve to master this integration throughout their organizational structures will succeed while those who don’t, expose themselves to failure.

Information & technology managers are a crucial part of any organization. They strategically build and implement the information and communication structures on which businesses depend. By the time our students graduate, they have an in-depth knowledge of information technology systems and an insight into principled leadership that no other university can provide. This makes our graduates some of the most sought after employees in the nation.

The information & technology management (I&TM) program is designed for experienced IT professionals seeking to advance their career by broadening their IT and leadership knowledge.

The program includes courses in process mapping & management, project management and programming & strategy. As an I&TM graduate student, you will learn how to analyze and improve business processes while using innovative technologies to bring projects to an optimal completion.

Sue Conger, Ph.D., is a professor at the University of Dallas and also serves as director of information & technology management academic programs. She publishes extensively, speaks at conferences globally and teaches in Finland, Mexico, South Africa and New Zealand. She is involved in both academic and practitioner organizations relating to information systems, IT services management and organization management.
